The Bible says:

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." Acts 3:19

John -- a disciple of Jesus said:

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believed on His Name." (John 1:12)

Turn to the Lord.

If you want to become a Christian then all you have to do is tell God -- invite Jesus into your heart and life -- Just like this:

"Lord, I know I have sinned against you. Forgive me of my sins and come into my life. I accept Christ as my personal savior once and for all. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness and help me to be the kind of person you want me to be. Thank you for hearing my prayer and coming into my life."

If you have prayed that prayer with a sincere heart - then your sins have been forgiven, God has heard you and you are now a born-again Christian.

As every child needs to grow and mature, also everyone who is a new child of God must grow and mature.
